Qld Government Approved Inspection Station Rockhampton

In Queensland, a Roadworthy Certificate is needed when a registered light vehicle is offered for sale, or when re-registering an unregistered vehicle.

This confirms that a vehicle has passed a minimum safety standard inspection. The inspection covers the basics for the safe operation of the vehicle such as; tyres, brakes, steering, suspension, body rust or damage, windscreen and lights.

Are You Selling Your Car Information

The Roadworthy Certificate must be displayed in an obvious area of your vehicle when selling it. For a car, this in generally on the windscreen or window. Our Roadworthy Certificates are valid for 2 months or 2,000km (which ever comes first) from the date of issue.

When Buying a Car

If you are buying a used vehicle, it is important to know that a Roadworthy Certificate is safety focused and not a comprehensive mechanical inspection. At Highway Auto Care we can provide for you a full and comprehensive mechanical inspection to ensure the car you a buying will be reliable and keep you safe on the road. Don’t buy a lemon!
